The Nucleus 7 is a behind-the-ear sound processor which may be powered with disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries.
The device can be controlled via the Nucleus Smart App*. It is also possible to stream audio content from a compatible smartphone to this processor.

SmartSound® iQ with SCAN
SmartSound iQ technology with SCAN function analyzes the sound environment and automatically adjusts the processor parameters accordingly.
Cochlear True Wireless™ devices
The True Wireless™ range offers three devices compatible with Nucleus 7 processor: a remote microphone, a hands-free kit and a TV audio transmitter.
ForwardFocus
Feature that reduces sounds coming from behind the processor and emphasizes those coming from the front. Can be activated from the Nucleus Smart application.
Smartphone connectivity
The compatibility of the Nucleus 7 Sound Processor with certain Android and Apple devices gives access to several features.*

The Nucleus Smart App is compatible with iPhone 5 (or later) and iPod 6th generation devices (or later) running iOS 10.0 or later. To use the Nucleus Smart App for Android, your device will need to run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later and support Bluetooth 4.0 or later.
