Different carrying accessories exist
Cochlear proposes devices that may be suitable to avoid the loss of sound processors on daily life or when practicing physical activities.
Nucleus® 8 Sound Processor options
- Cochlear™ Snugfit: may be indicated for a firmer fit on the ear when practicing physical activities. Available in three sizes.
- Cochlear™ Koala Clip: a clip-on retention that attaches the sound processor to an article of clothing.
- Safety Cord: it can be used to retain the sound processor if it comes off the ear.
- Cochlear™ Earhook: may be used to secure the sound processor to the ear.
- Cochlear™ Hugfit: may be indicated for the smallest ears.
- Cochlear Headband: designed to help keep the Nucleus 8 Sound Processor more securely on the child's head.
Nucleus Kanso® 2 Sound Processor options
- Cochlear Safety Line Hair Clip: this connects to a Safety Line.
- Cochlear Safety Lines: reduce the risk of losing a sound processor. They connect to the socket of a Kanso® 2 Sound Processor. Available in short, long and short loop variants
- The Cochlear Headband: has been designed to help keep the Kanso 2 Sound Processor more securely on the head. It can be worn with one or two Kanso 2 Sound Processors.
- The Kanso Halo accessory is designed to keep the Kanso 2 Sound Processor more securely on your head. The accessory has two attachment points and can be used with two Hair Clips or Cochlear Safety Line with Hair Clips (short double loop).
