"From that first moment it was confirmed that they could hear us, it was just such a joyful feeling and we knew we had done the right thing."

- Dacy Z. - Mother of two Nucleus® recipients

The family grows with Cochlear

On Mother's Day 2002, Dacy discovered that her first child, Callie, was born deaf. Dacy struggled with the diagnosis and in the following months found herself questioning how she could make Callie feel loved when she couldn’t hear her.

A Cochlear Implant provided the answer for her family.

When Dacy found out her second child, Lexie, also failed her newborn hearing test, she didn’t hesitate in choosing a Cochlear Implant for her given the success with Callie.
